Schools

All school customers of Pages & Pages Booksellers will receive on normal purchases a 20% Discount.

We will charge freight to your school at the rate of $6.50 per parcel or carton. There will be no charge where books are picked up from either of our shops.

These Discounts may vary on occasions where the supplier does not offer us the normal margins ( e.g. videos, DVDs).

Your School Staff will also receive a 10% Discount on their personal books if your School is a regular customer.

Creating a new standard in service and support to schools
Pages & Pages Booksellers and Children\'s Bookshop are dedicated to servicing the literary needs of both schools and young readers in our community. With our quality children\'s bookshop, we are able to offer new standards of service and support to our schools. You can come to browse and personally select your books. Orders may be placed by phone, fax or email. Your orders will be satisfied from stock and our fast ordering from our suppliers in Australia and overseas.

Appro Packs
We send a Newsletter to schools each term, full of reviews of the most up-to-date books. These can be sent to you on approval or you can simply order.

Expertise
Christine Page is the Owner/Manager. Chris is an experienced teacher with an Arts Degree in English Literature, a Masters in Language and Drama and also, TESOL qualifications. Her teaching experience over 20 years included extending gifted children and setting up reading recovery programmes. She has also been heard regularly as a guest on 2BL, 2GB & 2UE discussing her favourite subject, books. Chris Page\'s expertise is backed up with other qualified and experienced staff, who together have teaching qualifications, experience in children\'s literature, and backgrounds in computing.

Administration
Our Bookshop is fully computerised. This allows us to offer the full range of services backed up by timely and accurate paperwork. Electronic ordering enables us to get books to you quickly.

Our range of Childrens and Young Adult books is extensive. Our Children\'s Shop includes:

Our general adult section enables us to uniquely satisfy the needs of secondary schools. We also stock a complete range of study guides, especially for the HSC.

We have a CD Rom of Worldwide Books in Print to help track down those hard to find books and we import books regularly from overseas

Books on Approval
We can supply, on approval, any books you might need to look at. If you would like to see what is available on any theme, just call us and we will put together a selection and either send or bring them to you. We deliver, pick up & invoice any books you decide to keep.

Newsletters
Each term, we publish our Young Pages newsletter. We aim to keep you up to date with the very latest releases in young literature.

Author Visits
In conjunction with local libraries, we conduct a regular programme of author visits. We have hosted authors such as John Marsden, Mem Fox, Martin Waddell, Alison Lester, Christopher Koch, Peter Goldsworthy, Elizabeth Honey, Geoffrey McSkimming, Morris Gleitzman, Anna Fienberg and Kim Gamble. This programme also enables us to arrange for authors to visit your schools.

Book Week and Education Week
We offer a full range of services for these two important weeks. Our offer extends from a selection of books on approval, to a full Book Fair where we provide books and access to credit card facilities . Book early!

Book Talks
Chris Page has given numerous talks on books and children\'s literature to parents, teachers and librarians and she is only too happy to oblige on future occasions.

Library Fund Raising

Reading Rewards
We operate a shopping loyalty programme in both our bookshops. Ask your parents to donate the Gift Vouchers they earn to your school library.

Benefit Months
If your school is local to our bookshop, you might like to organise a Benefit Month. During a Benefit Month, your school community can buy books and nominate your school to benefit from 10% of all their purchases.
