How To Download An eBook

How to Download an eBook from our eBook store

Before you purchase you need to have an Adobe ID. This is because our eBooks are protected by Adobe DRM (Digital Rights Management) . DRM helps protect the copyright of the author and publisher. Go to http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/ and set up an Adobe ID (Username and password)

Once you have done that you need to decide what you will be reading on (sorry no Kindle). If you want to use a Sony eReader, Kobo Reader or another eInk device you will also need to download Adobe Digital Editions onto your home computer. This will then act like iTunes in syncing your eBook purchases to your device.

If you want to read on your home PC or laptop you can download our ReadCloud reading software to your computer when you create an account. Just click the “sign up for free” button.

If you want to read on your Android smartphone or tablet  you should download the ReadCloud App for free from the Android Market Place. This App is pre-loaded on The Cumulus. Once it has downloaded and installed you will need to enter your Adobe ID to authorize the App. You only need to do this once.

If you want to read on your iPhone or iPad download our ReadCloud App from the iTunes Store for free. In the info window of the app make sure you enter your Adobe ID.

Now you are all set to buy eBooks!

Visit our eBook store www.pagesandpages.com.au/ebooks.htm and have a browse or do a search. Purchasing is very simple. Once you hit “pay now” a screen will pop up confirming your purchase and asking you to download your eBook.

You do not have download the book straight away as an email with a link to your book is also sent to you. You might want to save these emails in a separate folder in your in box.

If you download your eBook straight away on your Android device, iPad or iPhone it will ask if you want to read the book with your ReadCloud Reader (or Bluefire). If you hit yes your book will open straight away. If you download on your computer it will open in Adobe Digital Editions and then you can transfer your eBook to your device or open with the ReadCloud software.
